Marit Wolters, born in 1985 in Achim, lives and works in Vienna.
Wolters holds a BA in Art History and German Studies from TU Dresden, as well as diplomas from Universitiy of Fine Arts in Dresden (Sculpture and Architecture Related Media) and University of Applied Arts Vienna. She has taken part in numerous art residencies abroad, in 2019 she’s going to spend 3 months at Red Gate Gallery in Beijing, China.
