As part of the long-term cooperation between (studio) das weisse haus and the sponsoring program of Erste Bank, the Erste Bank Art Award is presented annually since 2016.

Dedicated to artists, who have participated in the program of das weisse haus and studio das weisse haus, the prize facilitates a solo-presentation and a one-month residency to expand one’s own network. Over the years the prize and its implementation was continuously developed with the aim to maintain topicality and timeliness.

The Erste Bank Art Award is carried out with cultural institutes representing Austria worldwide.
