During her residency at Schaumbad, Elodie Grethen will investigate the notion of inactivity and idleness as a means of creation. Using the cyanotype technique, she creates installations in which furniture is turned into a possible space for encounters. The bodies are exposed to the sun, leaving only a reminder of their presence. Its abstraction reveals moments suspended in time and the traces of intimacy.
