Philipp Spillmann studied Fine Arts, Art Education and Cultural Publishing in Bern, Zurich and Hong Kong. He writes for various art and cultural magazines in German-speaking countries and worked as an art mediator at Manifesta 11 and documenta 14. Currently, he is leading an independent space for self-organized teaching at the Zurich University of the Arts and researches the imaginative colonization of space from the perspective of post-colonial theory.
