Residency Period

Mirko Maric lives and works in Graz. He was co-founder of several artists group in former Yugoslavia such as Generation 1 and KaMeN. In 1989 he co-founder and head of the Yugoslavian Biennial Exhibition of New Phenomena in Visual Arts. One year later he organized the Yugoslavian Symposium for Monumental Sculptures.
Since 1995 he works in collaboration with “Rhizom – Association for Promoting Cross-Medial Cultural Activities” in Graz. Mirko Maric has been honored with numerous awards and prizes for his artistic activities.
