Tim Zercie (b. 1987, USA) received his BFA in painting at Montserrat College of Art in 2009. He went to Mali on two independent research trips to study the ceremonies and masks of the Dogon tribe in the Sahara. Afterwards, he attended the Royal College of Art and received a Master’s in Painting in 2013. From 2015 to 2018, he ran a radio program Ancient Technologies on Resonance 104.4 FM (a London non-profit art community station), where he live-mixed soundscapes while he discussed occult texts. Tim is currently based in London and Berlin, exhibits his work internationally and since summer 2020 co-directs Cornucopia, a gallery space in London showing mainly emerging artists.
