Residency Period June 16 – July 17, 2016
Petra Ponte holds a BA in Theatre Studies and an MA in Contemporary Art History from the University of Amsterdam, and completed the itinerant curatorial programme ‘Exhibition Analysis and Practice’ at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe and the University of Amsterdam. Ponte’s fields of interest include transdisciplinary and transcultural visual and performing arts, the politics of aesthetics and decolonial thinking. Currently she is an associate art worker at STICHTING FLAT, Amsterdam.
During her residency at studio das weisse haus, Petra Ponte worked on a project entitled A Rap on Race Revisited.
